You Don’t Have to be Today Who You Were Yesterday

A few months ago at Tribe, while talking at lunch, a former co-worker was discussing his disbelief at his girlfriend’s ability to simply change her mind. For example, she would suggest somewhere to go for dinner that she had previously said she didn’t like.  When he pointed out to her the discrepancies she would merely shrug and say she changed her mind.

While girls might be accused of this more than boys, thankfully anyone can change – what an underrated power that is. With the four simple words, “I changed my mind,” one is able to make a slight change or a complete 180.  It can apply to just about anything; you can change personality traits, habits, activities, anything. It might not be easy, but it is possible. Just take one day at a time.  Strive to do and be just a little bit better than the day before.

It is never too late to be who you want to be; so ask yourself, who do you want to be? Every day work towards being the person that makes you happy.
